Koenigsknecht Dentistry is offering the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush for Kids. The toothbrush usually retails for $69.99, but we will have it available to our patients for $40.00 plus sales tax. An electric toothbrush can help ensure your child is brushing for the recommended two minutes and removing more plaque in the meantime. Feel free to ask us about this toothbrush the next time you are in.

2014 was an exciting year at Koenigsknecht Dentistry. We welcomed three new staff members and three new babies into our dental family! Dr. Nick and his wife Erin, had a baby girl, Faye in January. Our office coordinator Gessika had another boy, Ethan in May. And, Dr. Jonathan and his wife Jessica, welcomed a baby boy, Lincoln in October. Audrey is our newest dental assistant. She has been with us since fall of 2013 when she started as a temporary employee during our project to convert to digital charting. Audrey will be trying to fill the shoes of our dear Becky who is retiring at the end of 2014 to enjoy more time with her grand babies! Lisa is a new face (and voice) with our business team. She joined us in July. We also have a new hygienist on staff named Maggie. She is working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please join us in welcoming these new staff members!

Koenigsknecht Dentistry Offers Same-Day Dentistry for Crowns and other Restorations
E4D System
The E4D system is the latest in CAD/CAM technology for the dental industry. It allows us to create beautiful porcelain crowns in just one appointment at our office, eliminating the need to wear a temporary crown for weeks.
The procedure consists of shaping your tooth as you would normally for a crown. The tooth is then scanned by a laser into the computer system. From the 3D image that is created from the scan a crown is designed by our dental team. It is then sent to an in-office mill, which cuts the crown from a block of porcelain. We are able to create a more natural look that better matches your existing teeth with this new system.
We began offering this service as of December 2011 for those patients whose restoration case can be created using the E4D.

Ready to make a splash!

Koenigsknecht Dentistry recently presented Bill Schafer, City of St. Johns Recreation Director with a check to further the cause to replace the city pool with a community spray park. We hope that someday soon St. Johns will be able to enjoy this new recreational area!

Our construction project has begun
Rendering of our new addition on the south west corner of the building.
We are very excited to begin our construction project here at Koenigsknecht Dentistry to expand the clinical and waiting room space for our patients. Other features of our new office will include: an additional bathroom for patients, a private procedure room, roomier checkout stations and a whole new look, while keeping our 1860s Victorian charm. We can’t wait to share our new space with you!
Koenigsknecht Dentistry will be open during construction.
Patients may use the driveway off Cass Street for drop off and pickup.
We appreciate your patience during this time. All patients and visitors should use our new, but temporary, entrance off of Cass Street. Parking is available directly north of our building on Cass Street and west on Clinton Street. Patients may also park in our newly acquired parking space directly south of our building. The entrance to this parking is off of Clinton Street.
